Four Heavy Equipment Deployed to Build Halim Perdanakusuma Reservoir

East Jakarta Government deployed 4 heavy equipment to assist Halim Perdanakusuma Reservoir construction work in Cipinang Melayu, Makasar. This work had started since November 4, 2021.

We plan to dredge this 2-hectare reservoir with depth around 2.5 meters

East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency's Maintenance Section Head, Puryanto mentioned, his side deployed 2 heavy equipment in form of 1 long arm excavator and 1 standard excavator. While the other 2 heavy equipment in form of long arm excavator and softel loader were came from Bina Marga Sub-agency.

"We plan to dredge this 2-hectare reservoir with depth around 2.5 meters. Currently, its progress only reaches about 9.8 percent," he explained, Friday (1/7).

SDA Deploys One Heavy Equipment to Dredge Cilangkap Phb Channel

According to him, soil dredged from the location is piled on the left and right sides of reservoir's wet section to be used as embankment or inspection roads. While garbage collected in this dredging was disposed to TPST Bantar Gebang, Bekasi, South Java.

"This land used to be illegal dumpsite. So, when we dredge it, there is a lot of garbage," he said.

There were 10-14 trucks deployed from Environment Sub-agency to transport garbage every day to TPST Bantar Gebang.

"We will also try to deploy more trucks and put LH Sub-agency stickers to them. Thus waste transporting process can be done quickly. We will coordinate with LH Sub-agency," he stated.
